Join Science Heroes on our mission to turn science into an adventure! Through hands-on experiments and fun, celebrate the scientists who color our world with art!

Regularly scheduled meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 4:30 pm in the Stockwell Room of the library. All meetings are open to the public.

We’re partnering with United Way of Ashland County again this year to bring you Fun Fridays. The Bookmobile will be with them at the Ashland Theatre with fun giveaways, materials to checkout, and Summer Reading supplies.

This program covers a wide range of topics related to healthy living, including information from outside presenters. 
- Jun: Art Therapy with Appleseed Community Mental Health Center

This fun show is filled with lots of crowd participation, comedy, illusions, mentalism, and more! Perfect for the entire family. 

Join us for a welcoming storytime at the library, designed for all ages and abilities.  Enjoy a curated selection of captivating tales that spark imagination and foster connections. 

On Sundays all ages are invited to explore the world of art through various self-led art projects. Stop by to create something unique this summer as we “Color Our Word.” Drop by The Studio any time 

Experimentation with temperature is taken to the next level when we battle fire and liquid nitrogen in an explosive demonstration.

This program is perfect for both beginner and experienced fiber artists. Join a vibrant community of fellow crafters who share your passion for knitting, crochet, embroidery, and more.

Participants are encouraged to express themselves creatively through various prompts and exercises. Whether it’s writing a short story or poem, drawing a picture, or making a collage, everyone has the opportunity to share.
