This two session course will give you the opportunity to learn the basics of cake decorating.
October 17 - Session 1: layering and icing cakes, borders, and piping
Supplies required:
- Two (2) layers of the same size cake on your plate
- Enough buttercream frosting to coat and decorate your cake (click here for a buttercream recipe)
- Icing tips #12 and 1M or 366, 4b, PME 13, and a 104
- Piping bag(s)
- Spatula(s)
- Icing Smoother (optional)
October 24 - Session 2: swirls, rosettes, writing, dots, and beads
Supplies required:
- Cake Tips: open star (1M and Tip 18)
- Piping Tips: 12, 10, and 2
- Petal Tip: 104
- Leaf Tip: 352

- Piping bag(s)
